Coached Open Gym

Here at Mobius we are redefining group training!

We believe that the training needs of everyone can’t be squeezed into a traditional 1-hour long class. Everybody is different. So why should we all train the same?

Our ‘Coached Open Gym’ is exactly as it sounds. An open gym environment with coaches patrolling the floor watching over all of your sets and reps.

This gives you the luxury to complete all of the components of your session in your own time!

Members will arrive around the time of their session booking, they will perform their own warm-ups and get ready for the movements in the upcoming session (don’t worry, we will show you what to do!). When they are ready, they will move onto the gym floor and begin the session.

Our booking system is very laidback. Start times are every half hour to provide a nice flow on the gym floor. If you have booked for 4:30PM and are ready to go at 4:30, great! Begin. If you’re slightly early or late, that’s okay too. Once you’re warmed up and ready to go you can start on the floor. The coaches will be ready and waiting to help!

We follow a communal training program via the ‘Train Heroic’ app to log our sessions (there are now 2 programs to choose from! See below for further details). Members book in throughout the week and have up to 5 sessions to complete between Monday & Friday, and we then have 2 group classes on Saturday in which we throw down together!

Weekday sessions will involve main weightlifting and cardio pieces which will go for approximately 50-60 minutes. For those who want to do extras, we provide this in the daily sessions too!

Why it works!

Our unique approach to session structure allows you to enjoy training your way.
Session times overlap meaning the gym is always pumping with a great atmosphere, yet members are spread across time slots so that no single area is ever too crowded.

We understand everyone has different focus and capabilities which is why we don’t run a standard follow the coach approach. Instead, you are able to take the time during your session to focus on what YOU need to focus on. This means you are able to give the time and appreciation to things like olympic lifts and compound movements.

We also understand that life is a variable and sometimes you simply can’t make it in on a particular day. For this reason you are able to train the session number you are up to any day of the week meaning you won’t need to miss back squats one week just because you couldn’t make a particular day.

We now have two programs to accommodate for a variety of training goals and different levels of experience. From someone who has never stepped foot in a gym before, all the way to those who are looking to compete in the local fitness scene.

Full (70/per week)
Includes access to ALL available class types and times, unlimited sessions each week.

Off Peak (50/per week)
Includes the same benefits as our Full membership within the off peak time slots.

Off Peak time slots: 6:30am, 9:30am, 6:00pm, 6:30pm.

Strength & Conditioning PM: 3:30pm – 6:30pm (starting on the half hour)
